[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Z39.50 import in 2.12.4 throws errors

I have discovered that it is probably an older issue that still 
persists: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1271559... Has 
anybody come up with a working solution to this?
